I have read some of the posts regarding rotating views and
creating new isometric views via macros, but a question remains:
Is there a way to create a new orientation (in part/assembly mode) by rotating about an edge or axis? (like Pro/E) For example, I would like to start with the default isometric orientation, then (if you could imagine a piece of furniture such as a bookshelf) rotate it so that it appears laying down on its 'back'.
So basically, I want to grab an edge and rotate the model 90 degrees.
Lenny's macro works great for creating 8 standard iso views, but they do not create the ones that I typically need.
Thanks,
Dan
