Where can I find IEC schematic symbol for stepper motor?
I would go with the first one, the 4 lead bipolar connection, is that acceptable? Seems like that is the most common representation I see around, adding coils and tap points for other motor types if needed. I'd either copy/paste an existing symbol in your library and edit that, or just build it from scratch using standard symbol creation methods in SWE.
This is a tough question because there are several ways to display a stepper motor according to the IEC standard. It is also based on the part number or specific number of connections. Do you have a specific part you are looking for?
We are using a bipolar stepper motor with 4 wires.
Thanks. Are you using any incremental encoder in your schematics?.
Need incremental encoders schematic symbol also with eight wires(differential output with inverted channels and power)
Sounds like a box with a bunch of different connection dots to me. I don't know of a standard, that falls more under things like Drives or boards, just a box with the IO for terminals. So you could either black box it or create a new symbol and draw it up. What's the interface to it? Open leads? Terminals? a jack for a connector?
