New to this forum, so please don't hate me.

I've made a body part for a product I'm designing for a school project, see attachments. My goal is to turn the solid body into two different shells (front and back), but when trying to shell one half I get an error stating that the thickness is greater than the minimum radius of curvature, which happens to be ridiculously small.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Or knows an alternative way to shell this part?
