Hi Maha,
the parameters specifies the thickness and the faces to be removed. The multi-thickness settings allows you to select faces you wish to remain, but have a different thickness. You will need to combine your 2 bodies before this will work.

I tried with demerging two bodies but it didn’t work.
What is the different between the Combine and Merge result?
Same result. Merge would be my first option when building a part I want a a single feature. But I didn't dig into the model, I just saw 2 bodies so I used the combine feature.
Sometimes you want to manipulate part of a body without affecting the rest, so keeping it separate, or splitting it then combining them later is easier.
