Datum points randomly moving

So, occasionally I get this happening.  I create a datum point thru the intersection of an axis and a drafted face.  I use this method to then create a datum plane that is thru the point and parallel to a non drafted face or plane to use for assembling components that are attached to the drafted surface via screws or other hardware.  Anyway, the point gets placed where it's supposed to, right on the face and at the intersection of the axis.  Sometimes, after that, the point moves.  There's no rhyme or reason to it nor does it happen all the time.  See pics below.  Anyone know why this happens and how to fix this??  Usually, I just go and recreate the point from scratch because even by editing the feature, it shows that it is going to placed in the correct spot.  When I hit OK, it moves again.
