I just found an interesting bug in SWX 2015. I was using a swept cut along a helix to model threads for some parts I am having 3D printed. Once the parts were 3D printed, I discovered some of the threads were left hand threads. Even though I had selected "Clockwise" when creating the helix, it was modeled as "Counter Clockwise" (see attached screenshot). I am not very happy with prospect of having to check to make sure SolidWorks is doing what it is says it is doing. I will now need to reprint the problem parts with files that have helix defined as CCW, so that they will actually be CW. Has anyone discovered a fix for this?
