While changing configuration in drawing, the scale of the view is fixed to ex. 1:5, and whatever i do i can't change it.
Is it perhaps a parent view that is controlling the scale?
Or you can change to a custom scale.
Hi Steve, thanks for replying - i know all that.. I ve tried everything i know it just when i choose other scale it reverts to the old one. Tried to save it in new location, tried to copy the entire sheet...
Can you add another sheet and try another new view?
That works, but thing is - i have a lot of drawings to do just that and that would mean i need to work through all of them. I hope there is a way to get past this.
Sure, understand but do they all have the same problem? That wouldn't be good...
Only a guess here but maybe SolidWorks won't let you change the scale whilst you have dangling geometry & dimensions? That's why a new sheet is OK?
No, that wasn't an issue before. Also, now i'm reworking the drawings and i noticed that the the scale can't be changed only on the parent view - even on in a diffrent new sheet on the same drawing file. This doesn't apply to a fresh new drawing where everything works just fine.
Also tried saving it to a new name, as detached, changed admin privilegies etc. Could be something with the drawing file itself, but i don't know what.
