Is there a feature similar as replace component in assembly which can be used in multi-body part
Best I have seen is to delete the part in the part and then put in another one....or I have seen guys make an assembly that they will keep in a private folder or public folder that is not part of the standard parts where everyone could gain access to the assembly replace a part and then save the assembly as a part.
If you open the multi-body part from the SolidWorks open menu, there is an area that is called "References". As long as the multibody part is an "inserted part", this option will be available. If you click it, you will be able to choose a new file to use in it's place.
