Here's screen shots from new drawings of simple plates with 6061 alloy selected as the material. I've already made the properties of 6061 darker, but it still sometimes shows up as white (same as the background) when printed. Also, when rotating the model or assembly it goes from dark to light to dark again, as if a light was shining towards the model from where I sit. How can this be turned off?
