Is there a way to turn off the extended radius lines that are highlighted in the screenshot below?
One way is to make sure the radius arrow head is positioned on the actual arc edge. I understand the arc can be very small in some cases. If it is on the arc, there will be no need for the software to thrown in an arc extension line.
However, an alternative work around,
Select all the radius dimensions you are concerned with, go the leaders tab and select the option to make it a multijog leader,
if need be, change the style of the arrow head to match those of your other dimensions.
now i can no longer see the extension arc on my radius dimension.
although, personally I'd prefer to have it in there.
Hope this helps!
That would be nice, I'm thinking you may need to change your arrow direction or something.. The only settings available that I know of are here:
You can control visibility for dimension and extension lines on linear dimensions, but not on radius dimensions. That is unfortunate. You can do it in other programs, but not SW.
Interesting, thanks for the replies.
So there's really no "proper" way to do it. There really should be, IMO.
Thanks again for the help. I'll try the workaround.
