Everytime i refresh my sheet metal drawing, it turns into a little wedge...
Anyone run into this?
Sketch1 is not fully constrained or making use of obvious symmetry about the Origin.
Not a good sign.
Back in a minute.
Sketch33 does not make logical sense?
In more than 15 yrs of using SWx, I have never ever used a Fixed Point relation.
What happens if you remove this constraint and move the point to the corner of the geometry?
What's up with this?
I was about to fix your unconstrained Sketch1 and noticed that it is not symmetrical.
Is this really really your design intent?
How will this dimension be inspected?
Can you attach the files here?
If a wedge shows up, edit any flange or cut, the drawing will appear. when rebuilding in anyform, it pops back to a little door stop...
here is the part file
I got it. After design checker, there were 2 cutouts i deleted them both and it worked. I extruded though a bend , Solidworks did not like that!
Thanks for looking it.
yep, thats the cuts!!
Judging from the response that you marked as the solution - you might want to go back through my response.
sometimes stubing of the toe teaches us where to place our feet. I agree with your responses wholeheartedly.
It fixed the immediate issue, but much long term learning is still needed.
