Anyone have a application "HoleSeries" feature? Tried it on a sheet metal assembly. looks great till I open the sheet metal flat, then I get #@$%^$#^ Looked for a propagate to part toggle....NONE
My guess would be that "Hole Series" is an Assembly Feature, and as such, they are supposed to be made after the part is manufactured (actually in the assembly process). So following that logic, it isn't supposed to show on the flattened sheet metal part as the holes won't be made during the parts manufacturing process. Maybe that's why...
It can be a bug as easily, I can be completely wrong in my first assesment.
Kurt,, Delete your "DefaultSm-FLAT-PATTERN" configuration from your part then reinsert that part back into a drawing. Then the flat pattern behaves like it should. Not sure what caused the issue in the first place.
Edit:.. Or just double click on the DefaultSM-FLAT-PATTERN then unsuppress the hole pattern.
HUmmm good work around Dennis, do you use HS often?
Ok,, I'm ignorant.. What is HS?..
On the same subject. This is not actually a work around. I think what happened is your configuration properties for "Default" were set to Suppress features. So when you put the holes in the assembly level (formed part) any new features would be suppressed in its derived config which is the flat-pattern.
Ok,, I got it. Hole Series. I'm going to have to bone up on that.
Oh Oh Maybe Was just looking for the configuration properties settings..... Options: System options? Can't Find it
Thanks In Advance
I was thinking here.. Right click on the config and choose properties. After putting more thought into it, not so sure if that will make a difference now.
I'm in the process of looking into the HS now. Looks like it goes back a ways and to be honest with you I've never used it. Thank you for pointing this out to me.
