Thanks, Vajrang. I thought I had updated eDrawings when I did SP3.4, but must have missed it.

Hi Gerald,

The problem you report was fixed in eDrawings 2006 SP02.

David : Can you double-check the version of eDrawings you are using on your machine and what is being used on the other machines ?

Cheers Vajrang, I was on SP3 while everyone else was on SP0. I did check the release notes but it never mentioned it.

Hi Folks,

I have a fairly large drawing i'm trying to save as an eDrawing. It works perfectly on my computer (other than shaded with edges isn't possible), however when I open it at another seat some of the parts turn green. It isn't just the face or surface, the entire body goes green.
Think it might have something to do with a certain setting when each part was done, other than that i'm clueless.

Anybody have any ideas?

I see green parts in eDrawings when I have some amount of transparency applied. In the attached zip, core1.easm shows the assembly with both parts solid while core2.easm shows the same assembly with one part with "change transparency" set.

Hi Vajrang,

The thing is it happens on every machine other than mine, not just one! I've opened it on 5 other computers in the office and emailed it to somebody outwith the office and it goes green every time. I tried messing about with the Software OpenGL settings before, and re-saving, but same thing. Only ever stays as it should on my machine.

Hi Dave,

Seems like a graphics card / driver problem if the same file appears okay on one machine and not on another (same SPs of eDrawings, right ?). Can you try using Software OpenGL on the machine where the problem occurs ?
