Hi, anyone know how to generate the thread annotation in drawing? I make the thread by using thread feature.
from my understanding the thread feature is good for creating custom threads. If your model requires a standard thread you're better off using a cosmetic thread as the thread call-outs are simple. As far as I've seen, there is no thread call-out for the thread feature at present (ironic as it may seem).
You can in your model :insert , annotation, cosmetic thread and choose the thread you want, then in the drawing : click view, hide/show , make show annotation is ticked. in that case you don't need model your thread.
I understand your solution to called out cosmetic thread annotation. But, what if I using a Thread Feature in SOLIDWORKS 2017 how to call out the annotation in drawing?Niloo Akbari
