I've attached a screen shot of a frame for some mobile machinery I'm analyzing. As you can see, I've cut the model along the mid-plane and applied the symmetry constraint to all resulting faces along the midplane. The machine is fixed at the pin connections for each of four jacks (2 here due to symmetry) and I have applied loads to the flat faces in 2 places as shown.

Is it incorrect to attempt to mirror a load in this way in Simulation? If this method does yield acceptable results, is the load I specify effectively doubled due to the symmetry or is the value i specify the full load applied?
