Hello.

I am currently working on a project where i am making a modelization of the Dyson cool fan. My problem is that the flow is moving up instead of moving forward and i can't find why. The fan works like that : it sucks the air at the base and blow it throught the circle-shaped part at the top of the base. The flow generated sucks the air behind the fan. This phenomenon increase the air flow in front of the fan. To modelize this I am a using the official solidwork schematic of the Dyson Cool. I have cut the bottom and added a lid . I used the flow simulation add-on of solidworks and made an external flow analysis with no air speed (like in a room for example). To modelize the air suction I created a boundary condition on the top of the lid which is an inlet velocity. I add a picture off my project. Thank You for helping me.
