I'm going to make the CSWA-E: SOLIDWORKS Certified Electrical Associate and would like to know where I can prepare for the certificate? If there are some exercises, or where to find more information about Solidworks Electrical?
Go to SOLIDWORKS Certification | Support | SOLIDWORKS for all information concerning certifications.
The best thing I can say about getting any of the certs.is to have used them for a while. Learn all the ends and outs of that section of the program. Give me a part, assembly drawing....and I can do a lot with it. Sheet metal took a little learning curve to make sure that I knew what the program was looking for but now it is not a problem. Same thing with the weldments. If I see surfacing....there is something that is neat but I have not used much of. If it where not for the user group meetings I would know a lot less about these features. If possible do a presentation on the topic your looking to get certified on at your local user group meeting.
For Associate Electrical I would get a webpage/pdf with basic electrical principles, and electrical open with a project of some sort. With this I found it was fairly straight forward to pass.
