Just took a look around at the usual sites and not finding one. It could be a vertical Honda, B&S or Tecumseh.

Thank you! As I mentioned I had already looked at all of the usual sites including, GrabCAD, Traceparts and 3D CC. I do have a Honda engine here and may have to settle for making a crude model just to have the volume, mounting points, shaft centerline and protrusion.
so what your looking is an engine that has the exact dimension in the outside like mounting bolt hole, bounding box?
Yes and thank you again. I can model up what I have here so I can do this myself. I wouldn't share it online as it will just be a simple 'outside' only model. Then I can use that in the assembly and get chain lengths and insure I have the clearance I need to be sure the assembly will work.
Much to my surprise I just received a model! I am now all set to continue modeling my assembly. Thank you!
Here's a picture.
I don't have them here and I'd have to look and see if I still have the models, but years ago I did find and downloaded a lot of iges models of Honda motors for a project that I was working on. I not sure where I found them anymore, but I'm thinking it was www.traceparts. com or Honda Engine website..
Good morning John! I guess by now you have seen that I now have a model. I did check the other sites before I posted. It's so awesome that a community like this exists and why I am a contributing member! (I think! LOL!)
gm to you as well, yes I did see you have a model, but there's more then one - The question is did you find the exact one you were looking for?
This model is very similar to the one I have here and I'm sure it will have the necessary information so I can model my assembly around it. Of course I will do my 'homework' and verify the model to my actual dimensions here.
Here's the go cart I built many years ago, it's all stainless steel tubing .04 ~ thick, most of it is square tubing. The frame is very light, you could hold it up with one finger. I had bought a piece of 1" diameter titanium rod to make the axle out and never made that part. They had come out with hollow axles back then too. I have gas and brake pedal adapters on it so my kids could ride it when they were young.
I stopped racing it back then after I went end over end 3 times and side over side once and ended up upside down. You might see the kill switch but the roll cage was cut off. We had helmets and full drivers harnesses on them. I walked away but was quite shocked. It has sat for at least 12 years now.
Yes I built the entire thing, welded it too. No CAD! LOL!
