I have a part called "Rev 1 Tool" (model and drawing)
I made a copy , saving it as "Rev 2 Tool" (model and drawing) .
"Rev 2 Tool" drawing is associated with "Rev 1 Tool" model. When I make modifications to "Rev 2 Tool" model, they are not updated in "Rev 2 " drawing.
How do I change association of "Rev 2 tool" Drawing so it reflects the changes made to "Rev 2 " model?
Using a different configuration will not work in this case.

Close the Drawing, then go to File > Open. Browse to the Drawing. Select it, but don't open it. Click on the References button. That will take you to a box where you can change the reference.
...or, with the Drawing open, right-click on a Drawing View of your model and select "Replace Model". That option was introduced within the last couple of years, so if you're using an older version you might have to use the first method above.

You're welcome. Would you like to make it even easier? Instead of using "Save as..." to Rev2, open the Rev1 Drawing and go to File > Pack and Go. That will bring up a dialog box where you can copy the Drawing and all related files. There'll be a column titled "Save to Name". Double-click on each file name in that column and change Rev1 to Rev2. Click the Save button at bottom. You can Browse to a new location if you want, or choose to place the new files in the same folder as the old ones. Now close that Drawing. Open the Rev2 file and make your changes. Open the Rev2 Drawing and your changes will be there without any need to change links.
File -> Open "Rev 2 Tool"
Before you click "OK", click on "References"
Now you can point it to the "Rev 2 Tool" part -
Two ways. First, go into SW and select the drawing. See the circled red button in the screenshot below?
Use that button, and you will get a screen with the files the drawing references. Change the path and file name to point to the Rev 2 Tool.
The second way is to right-click on every drawing view and select the "Replace Model" view. Using that you can change all the drawing views to the new part.
