Hello all,

I have two questions I'm hoping someone could help me out with (one I think may be an easy one, but something I'm missing...)

First: when I have a sketch and click to select an entity where they are overlapping, I know it selects the longer, so I right-click and select other. However, when I have two overlapping entities which I try to dimension to one another, I am unable to and am unsure why. I have taken a short video and put it on Dropbox showing this: asdf.mov I have a workaround but it does mean that the geometry isn't constrained how I'd like it to be, which can be seen quickly in the video where I made a construction line and made it horizontal then dimensioned it. However, if the sketch is edited it does not pull the relations and means I am always having to re-dimension entities in my sketches. I'm sure I'm missing something, but I've had a look and have trawled google and youtube to no avail.

Secondly, I have a part in which I am trying to loft between to splines, however, I am unable to offset the splines so I can loft them. Please see:

When I try to offset the splines, I am getting an error and unsure how to get around this:

Again, have been all over google and youtube and tried to find answers on here, but am drawing a blank!

I have uploaded the part also, SW2016, if it helps.

Thank you in advance, Chris
