I just started using Routing to model the hydraulic hoses on
our products. I added CPoints to my hydraulic fittings and routing
hoses between fittings works fine.
My question is the ends of the hoses, SW doesn't appear to have hose ends (typically female JIC swivel in our case) in the Routing library. Straight ends can be added to the hose later but I'm think about 45 and 90 degree ends. Would I have been better off modeling the hose ends, adding the CPoint to them and using the hose ends as the start of the route?
Anyone else using Routing to model hydraulic hoses? How do you do it?
