When doing a dynamic simulation including springs (in my case a front suspension system for a buggy) how can I determine / approximate the correct damper value for a spring?
I can imagine 0 damping is not accurate since every mechanical system has friction. This shows in the results; 0 damping gives a continues oscillating result.
Any value >0 eliminates the oscillation, however the value entered is influencing the output (in my case suspension displacement) severely.
