Windows not recognizing SLDASM files

So I've searched and searched but I can't find anything about this...

We recently upgraded from 2014SP5.0 to 2016SP5.0 and now when I right click on an assembly from windows explorer assemblies are just the generic SW icon and they don't have the "SOLIDWORKS" in the right click menu like it does with parts and drawings to go in and rename, move, replace, and pack and go... (see below)

Any thoughts on why these would stop showing up? My guess is it's a windows setting. I'm on windows 7.
