I am trying to convert some SolidWorks drawings to .dwg files and have come across 2 issues. First issue is for drawings that have multiple sheets, the only standard SolidWorks options are to put them all in one file (first sheet in model space, second and subsequent sheets in layout sheets) or have SolidWorks put them in individual layout sheets with the model space blank. In the past when we have used AutoCAD, all sheets were drawn in the model space. Is it possible to create a macro that puts all sheets at various points in the model space?
The second issue is when SolidWorks places the drawings in the layout sheets. For some reason the AutoCAD layout is smaller than the SolidWorks layout, even though when you print the window, the SolidWorks layout fits accurately on the page. I have attached a picture. Any thoughts would be helpful.
