When I use the s-key shortcut and add a shortcut to this, it will normally stay there. however, when I close SW and open it again the shortcuts are gone? This happens for parts and assemblies. How do I fix this?
Sounds like SOLIDWORKS doesn't have permission to save your changes in the registry. You might need to find it in the start menu > right click > run as administrator. Then try setup your shortcuts.
I would add that it might be company policy where you work and they might be stored on a network as mentioned. If you can't get administrative rights you may have to bring this matter up to your IT person. I would suggest that you bring all of these similar matters up for discussion with your coworkers so you make this (these) change(s) once and they're available for everyone.
i think you also use the network drivers, i mean you don't save your designs on your own system, if it's so dont worry it's normal then to see so, i deal with it every day.
