Answer: Modify the associated file the view is presenting.
Not only is that a VERY open ended question, it was said very loudly.
There are a LOT of things that can change a drawing view. I imagine that there a pages and pages of things.
Can you be more specific with your particular situation?
- I am sorry it was said loudly, wasn't paying attention to my cap locks being on.
- The issue is we set up on each part file of a cabinet a flat view(Dig view) that shows the top and bottom sides as being cut by a router.
- The issue we have going on is all of a sudden the view which is set to 1:1 and as a particular named view is switching to a side/top/bottom/, or even a dirrect mirror of the veiw I actually need. (see below images).
- Any help on this is much appreciated. I wasn't sure if there was a combination of keys that could cause this, or a setting, that may have inadvertenly been clicked on/off depending.
It sounds like someone is changing the "front" view at the part/assembly level.
If you use the orthographic front view for your drawing and then update the front view in your model, it updates the drawing.
Hit spacebar at the part level and you will see a button called update views (or something like that).
shhh... occassionally I'll do that to mess with some people.
