I just reported the same problem to my VAR. Seems to be a common problem. (Your assembly also crashes.)
I had a multi-body part that used curve driven patterns, which caused crashes when I tried editing the feature.
My VAR tried suppressing patterns in the other client's file and he was then able to save it as eDrawing.
Since my client was waiting for my eDrawing, my work-around was to save my assembly as IGES, then import it back into SolidWorks as a new assembly. I could then save this assembly as eDrawing.
Bob.. this has been reported recently.. what I suggested is to directly open your sldasm/sldprt/sldrw in eDrawings and save out the easm/eprt/edrw.
Paul - That worked great (!!). Zero hassle. Thank you!
