Hello, i´m trying to make a diamond shaped net like this one with measures: 12 1/8" wide x 20 1/4" tall and 1/16" thick.

The way i´m attempting to do this is by extruding a rectangle with that width and height and 1/8" thickness, then shelling one of the faces and making a sketch on that face with all the central lines of the wires. (with .1045" distance between each wire) this results in a sketch with approx. 400 lines.

After that I tried to apply a rib feature and I was planning to cut the resulting object so you could see through the net. Unfortunately the program just gets stuck while making the ribs because it´s such a large amount of info.

Would it be faster/ lighter if I make a rib of only one line, make a linear pattern of the feature and then mirror the whole thing to achieve the diamond pattern?

Or does anyone know a better method to do it in order to avoid having extremely heavy files?

Thanks in advance!
