I was attempting to render a concept product for a customer
of ours last night. I had everything set-up in SW09 just like I
wanted it, but but when I opened it in PV360 I get this graphical
problem. I eventually had to use a less appealing PW render.
It was eye opening how much easier PV is to use when I was forced to go back to PW, only to get lesser results. The only benefit was PW allowed me to use a custom finish to match our powdercoat.
Any ideas what could cause this? If I tried to hide the face/body/part that is showing in error, all of then would disappear as it typical for PV360.

Try cranking up the Image Quality sliders under Tools > Options > Document Properties in your SW2009 files and re-save.
PV360 works off the tesselated image information that is saved in the SW file. The sliders set to a lower quality can affect the render from what I here.
Cheers,
