I have a tab at the bottom for my study but I don't see a tab
in the command manager. The only way I can access the functions are
through the simulation menu.
I don't think I should have to customize anything. I even
removed the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SolidWorks" registry key to
see If I could get things working again with no luck. If you look
in the "what's new" document it shows a command manager tab
Yes, the "What's New" does show a 'simulation' tab. But in
order for it to show up, you have to customize the command manager
tabs... or at least I had to.
But I don't even have a starting point for the "simulation"
tab. Customizing is one thing but starting a tab from scratch seems
like another? What am I doing wrong.
just right click on one of the other tabs on the command
mannager and make sure that the simulation option is checked in the
pop-up menu. Also once you get the command mannger tab up there
right clisk on it and use large buttons.
I'm new, so please forgive me if that's a ridiculously obvious answer. I just discovered it.
I have faced this issue before.
You need to clean your registry settings wrt solidworks and reinstall SW.
Simulation tab will apppear.
If anybody has come up with a quicker solution, I'd like to know it.
I'm having the same issue here.
I just went to hkey current user, then software, then in there I renamed solidworks key to solidworks.old
Then launch solidworks. It restores defaults of user interface which sucks but the study tree and tabs are there now, which is the whole point.
