I believe 15" laptop should be a minimum size while some here already tried on a tablet (surface pro) and seem happy about it
I think this is for Solidworks and Composer the same (it's not really clear if you ask the correct Forum).
What do you mean with perfectly? I prefer a 24" screen size. But this is not Minimum.
The size is not the question, but the resolution. I recommend 1920x1080 (FullHD). This is possible for 15" too. It depends on the Grafik Card and the Display. It's ok to work with 15" Laptop for a short time. Daily work will be better with 20"-27" and >= FullHD.
IMO, 55" 4k, then I can see it fairly well from the couch, these eyes are getting old. And I can reach the ice cold beer on the end table.
Or what the other guys said.
That's not fair - when I read the original post - I was going to write something like that - lol 60" is better yet
Somehow I don't think my boss would go for one of those - but my eyes would sure be happier.
They I wouldn't even need the second monitor
I currently use a 22" primary and 19 secondary (for emails and similar) monitor.
Wish it was bigger but it works.
A lot better than the old days of single CRT 16" - my eyes are burning just thinking about that.
I got my first LCD when I grabbed one that was burning in for a customer and at the end of the day I said to the company owner: "gee, for the first time I made it through a day without having to look up every 20 minutes to rest my eyes for 5 minutes because they were burning and getting blurry" - His response was that "that's now your new monitor". (now it's my secondary - I purchased my own better 22" 10 years ago - well worth the investment).
24" minimum, 16:10 aspect ratio required. Dual monitor setup a plus.
