Hi Maha, when you start a revolve, it will look for any centrelines in the sketch. If only one is present, it will auto select it. In this case the centreline is causing a self intersecting revolve. You have to right click the box and click clear selection, then add the correct line.

In your first pictured example, the profile would intersect itself, which is forbidden in boss revolves. If, for example you cut the profile in half, closing it along the chosen 'rotation axis', you would get a result that completes.
In the second example, the theoretical start and end profiles in the revolve would only 'touch' once you reach a full revolution at 360, if this is desired. This is the only type of 'touching' that's really allowed in revolves.
