    How to trace a path relative to a moving surface?

      Hello, I am creating a simulation for a 3D printer, and I would like to trace the path the overall shape of the 3D printed object.  I am able to trace of the path of the extruder by itself, but the issue is that my print bed is moving also.  Because the path is only relative to the extruder, my resulting traced path is unable to take into account the motion of the print bed as well.

       

      Is there a way to make it so that it traces the path relative to both the extruder and the moving print bed?

          Hello Zar,

          I have the same problem with tracing a path as well as with the path mate. The cartesian 3D printer that I created on SolidWorks has a moving print bed and it is important that I see the path that the extruder takes relative to the print bed so that I can determine if it is acting as it should. The path tracing would allow the printer to look more like a 3D printer that is actually extruding material.
