Can anyone help me with creating a slot around a cylinder in the same fashion as an endmill will do in an indexer? I need it to be at an angle but perpendicular to the "face" of the cylinder. Its pretty simple on an actual machine but I can seem to get it in solidworks! I want to use the slot as a cam to push a part forward and backward as the cylinder is rotated on its axis.
