Hi everyone, i'm currently designing a new intake system for my universities formula student car and have been struggling with understanding the mass flow rates outputted from goal plots.

I believe i am right in saying that i should be looking towards the minimum values due to the direction? What i can't understand is the low mass flow rate 2. The animation shows that each cylinder looks as if it's getting the same amount of air and the graph outputs in excel show the minimum value is much closer to that of the other cylinders. I was also wondering if someone would be able to shed some light on exactly what the criteria and delta values are?

Any help would be appreciated and apologies if my question(s) don't make sense.

If you are doing a steady-state simulation then you should be looking at the average value, not the minimum. Judging from your graph it looks like your goal values haven't converged yet. Can you provide a goal plot to show how these values are changing over time?
