I have an imported geometry that needs to have gaps filled in before being exported into external CFD programs. This requires the geometry to be filled up and the gaps to be filled as shown in the pictures. However, what I've managed so far is to create a boundary loft between two faces but this didn't give an ideal finish because the edges did not line up. Does Solidworks have the ability to fill up the gap even if it's an imported geometry? Thank you. I have also attached the base file which I imported into Solidworks, there is an IGES format file for import as well, but I'm not sure what are the differences between the formats.
Tuck.. this is a Rhino3D file.. I opened the 3DM directly in 2012 (works the best, imho).. and it does very well.. but I also open in Rhino3D and exported as STEP and IGES ... the IGES import was the cleanest ... it also export/imported the wireframe..
