I did go to weldment cut list in order to Add PART NUMBER
so it will appear in cut list BOM but how to display PART NUMBER in cut list view instead of showing structural member data
or can part number be display on parentheses or either of them - part number or structural member being in parentheses?
Expand the Cut List folder at the top of the Part's tree, right-click on a body name, and choose "Properties" from the drop-down. That will bring up the dialog box shown below. You can add properties here to display in the Cut List.

I'm using Solidworks 2014.
I am able to rename them to whatever I want by clicking once to highlight, then single clicking again to rename.

I can do it too but I still think if this is possible by settings because all we do is to see what part number is it and this would be cool to have this done as we do it on properties same time
