When opening a .SLDDRW it prompts me to browse for the
.SLDPRT. I find the correct .SLDPRT and then Solidworks give me an error
message stating the following:

 

“SOLIDWORKS encountered a serious problem in the file.
C:\Users\cschroeder\desktop\C713X-10-313.SLDRW. Please contact your local
SOLIDWORKS support representative for help in troubleshooting this problem.”

 

This SLDRW and SLDPRT are both files that were
provided from the customer. I have no problem opening the SLDPRT in Solidworks
and the SLDRW opens in eDrawings with no errors. I have tried to open this file
while running SP2 and SP3. No luck with either service packs.
