how to add trotyl as a material?
SolidWorks lets you build your own material libraries. As an example, there's always one with a single custom plastic at the bottom of your library list. You can add a library or material there. The standard libraries cannot be edited.
I suggest you create a library for your company and store it on a network drive so everyone can use the same library. That way parts will not start whining about missing materials and everyone is using the same data.
Hi Adrian,
Right click material at the top of the feature tree and select edit material. If you don't have a 'custom materials' or similar folder, I'd suggest making one by right clicking and 'New Library' . Once you have a new library, right click that and select ' New category' then you can right click that and add 'new material'. Fill in as much of the material specs as you possibly can.
