Hey, new to the forums so it might be posted somewhere.

I am using solidworks 2014 Premium x64 with the update SP5.0

I am also using windows 10.

I am trying to add Global variables so i can link dimensions, but i am getting an error. I do not seem able to get past value/equation box. It will not give a value in the "Evaluates to" Box. And when i press Ok i get a syntax error.

So far i have tried to run compatibility on windows 7 & 8.

I have tried to find  KB3072630 but this is a brand new computer and in update history only 6 are present and none of them are KB3072630.

I am unsure if there is a fix since this is a 2014 version and windows 10 wich might give the error.

Any suggestions or help welcome
