Just curious how others are doing this. I have a lynch pin that I would like to mate to a chain with a ring and allow reasonably freedom of movement so I can place it in an assembly. Currently I will place a point on the plane  as if I am looking at the ring laying flat. This point is inside the ring and I will place another point inside the second ring then I will make the points coincident. For the most part this is OK but I was wondering if there is a better way.
