Hello!
I render animation where camera moves towards sphere that has perforated rubber appearance.
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.40GHz
GPU: Nvidia Quadro M2000 that is recomended for SolidWorks
and rendering utilizes CPU "only"
what is wrong? where is bottleneck?
Thank you!
Hi Ivan,
PhotoView 360 is just not coded to make use of the GPU for rendering. So, if you are rendering an animation using PhotoView 360 you are going to be using only CPU. SOLIDWORKS Visualize though (released in version 2016) is capable of rendering using the GPU which does reduce render times a great deal. If you have access to PhotoView 360 (and are still on software maintenance) then you have access to Visualize. You may want to check out that it can do for you (GoEngineer - SOLIDWORKS Visualize Capabilities).
