Hey all,

I'm trying to do something which I THINK would be simple but I'm not even sure which command to use to get it to work.

In the image below, all I want to do is move the highlighted face "left" 0.113 inches, and then move the face directly opposite it to the right that same distance... but I don't want the back of the circle to move. So in other words, I want to take those two ends and "push" them opposite, but without bending the back of the piece. Think Split Lock Washer...

I thought Move Face would work, but I couldn't get it to, so I tried Flex, then Deform (though, admittedly, I don't know how to use those last 2 commands, but everything I tried didn't work).

Anyway, how would you guys do this? Do I just not understand how the Deform tool functions?

If you can just tell me which command to use, I'll research and see how to do use it... but there's so many options, I don't even know which one to pick.
