I have nested configured assemblies that wont update. Is there a function to force an update through a top level assy?
Press CTRL+Q - deep rebuild. May help
No tried that... This is the problem, when the Assembly is placed into another the "300" should be "1500" on all parts with congurations
When the assembly is open and I select "1500" all configured parts are "1500"
as per the Master part driving the length
Greg. If you change the flexible sub assembly to be rigid does it update more reliably? Just intrigued to see if the flexible sub assembly could be the cause here.
Also I notice there are external references on the parts (the -> symbol). Try using the Performance Evaluation button on the Evaluate toolbar to see if any circular references are found.

Hey Adam thanks for replying, yes I tried that that and it had some effect but it doesn't hold. I also tried toggling between Flexible and Rigid and it does force an update but also found it doesn't hold. I think I am asking too much and am now exploring using a design table to solve the problem.
In case like this I build the Macro: Open->Rebuild->Save->Close for all troubled components.
