How to restrain a shaft in torsion w/o "Stabilize Shaft Rotation"

Starting simple here and working towards a larger analysis goal.

Setup is as basic as I can make it; torque at the top of the shaft is balanced by an equal and opposite counter-torque on the bottom of the shaft.  Shaft is supported by two rigid bearings between the application of the load.

I want to analyze a shaft in torsion using the bearing fixture option but I don't want to use "stabilize shaft rotation" because it appears as though the torque does not get transmitted through the bearing fixture (see image, 1 bearing is "stabilized", the other is not).

My question is how would you constrain this shaft to avoid this problem and others (introduction of large displacements, etc...)?
