hi  guys, does anybody know how to stop a part from rebuilding during editing in sw2015?

i am sitting with more than 800 surfaces in an imported part and when ever i delete a surface, i have to wait while the whole lot rebuilds...very frustrating

freeze bar wont work in this application...
