I was send an E-Drawing from a client. He wants me to reverse engineer it so he can make some modification to a supplier part. Is there a way I can open the E-drawing in Solidworks? Even if I can edit, just open and take some measurements. I`m not a big fan of e-drawings.

You may be able to take measurements if the person who saved it enabled measuring. Otherwise, no editing at all. It's kind of like a PDF file for Solidworks. A graphical view only, no real solid data to manipulate.
