When Rulers are turned on in SW 2016 drawings, the close button is partially hidden behind the task pane tab.
Why doesn't the task pane tab set move down along with the buttons?
It was a problem in SOLIDWORKS 2016 which has been fixed in SOLIDWORKS 2017.
Darn, beat me to it.
No, sorry. The fix came in after the last service pack.
Let me look for the link but I had this issue earlier. Jim Wilkinson helped me track it down to my using a larger resolution in windows if my memory is correct.
My mind is getting to be the same as my weak eyes.
But no patch for 2016 that I'll be using until my clients upgrade? Rats. It's a minor inconvenience.
No way it is fixed, or it might be re-introduced. SolidWorks 2019 still shows this amateurish design of blocking it's own buttons. Don't even start to tell me about other ways to work around. SolidWorks should start thinking of an uniform way of commands and menus. Not having 10 different departments adding new ways of configuring menus and realising menu icons are not the solution, that is why the alphabet took over. Structure and uniformity help to find things.
