HI all,
Newbie here with a question concerning drawing multiple half cross sections along a vertical plane and creating a completed object.
Specifically, I am taking cross sections of a scale aircraft model to enter into Solidworks. My plan is to complete my fuselage half cross sections on paper and transfer them into Solidworks using my tablet along the vertical plane. How do I mirror these cross sections to create the 3D model? I need to make changes to the shape of the fuselage in multiple areas and create full size cross sectional templates to build a full size positive and negative mold as well as internal mounting and bracing points for the tubular frame.
I hope there are several individuals that can direct me to any tutorials or help areas that can explain the process. I have not had much luck myself.
Thanks
