I am curious to know if there is a way to use the wrap tool or any other process to quickly project artwork on a cone but NOT have if distorted. I am able to use the wrap feature on a wavy surface but not able to on a cone. I get this error:

Sketch plane should be parallel to a tangent plane on the selected face

Attached are pictures of the process.

I was able to use extrude for the circles and created a parallel plane to the cone for the word Stereo / then I projected the stereo sketch / created 3D sketch of outlines / and cut extruded inward.

Anyone know a better way to do this?
